Cool! I can't remember what the original exactly looked like - but I still really like it!! Curious - How did you get rid of the holes? Was it simply an adjustment of scale on one of the formulas? I think I had a similar issue, and that may have been what solved it for me ... :-)

The original had a hole in the bubble. bib993 told me, how to fill it. The raystep multiplier (right side in Mandelbulb) was 0.5, I changed it to 0.1 and there was no more hole.
It's much better now!

Thanks for letting me know - I experiment with that setting a lot on rendering - smaller is better for quality, but makes the render take longer - I've even used settings as small as .001 to get out artifacts on some 'stubborn' pieces! :-)

You're right, that very small settings last...
But til now I didn't even notice raystep multiplier, and now I'm happy it solutes a problem I had more than one time.
